The BSI states: "To prevent information from falling into the wrong hands, a regulated procedure is required to completely and reliably delete or destroy data and data storage media. If data storage media that have not been deleted or are only insufficiently deleted are passed on, sold, or scrapped, the inadvertent disclosure of information can cause significant damage. Cryptographic keys, passwords, confidential information, and other highly sensitive data, in particular, pose a potential risk. Therefore, every government agency and every company must have a procedure for secure deletion."

The media to be destroyed will be collected from your location by one of our employees. The type and quantity of data storage devices are recorded. If the data storage devices are clearly labeled, this information is also recorded. The media is taken directly to our nearest branch and stored there in a locked container until actual destruction. Storage and safekeeping are carried out according to established security standards. The media is collected for destruction by our certified partner under the supervision of our employees. The actual destruction is carried out in accordance with ISO 66399. You will receive confirmation from us that the media has been properly and correctly destroyed.
