Cristie Managed Backup Service meets all compliance requirements and is a good option for replicating data according to the 3-2-1 rule.

Cristie operates several high-security data centers in Germany. These are certified according to the BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security). All data centers are connected via multiple telecommunications providers and have redundant power supplies. The data center even generates its own electricity for the Cristie Cloud using wind turbines.

The data is transmitted encrypted. Replication occurs either via an encrypted VPN connection or, optionally, via a direct data connection.
On-premises housing, managed hosting or failover in the Cristie Cloud.
Housing
The target system for replication is installed in a lockable rack or cage in the high-security data center.

Hosting
Cristie provides and operates the replication system.
Cloud
The target system is the Cristie Cloud. This option allows the backup to be immediately used as a production system in the event of a disaster.
With all three models, companies benefit from an independent, secure location for their data. Companies that choose the hosting or cloud model also enjoy a high degree of flexibility. Additional resources can be added quickly as needed.
